5 Things Guys Can Do to Clean Up Their Look

Whether it’s looking good for that special someone or doing some personal grooming for a job interview, you want to put your best foot forward. Even though we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover we definitely do with other humans. Do these 5 things to clean up your look and make a good first impression.

Here are 5 things you can do to clean up your look.

1. Keep Your Hair Trimmed

Get yourself a personal groomer to manage your look in-between haircuts. Got a beard? There’s no need to go to extremes with fancy beard patterns but keep that weird neckbeard at bay. Trim the neckline (not jawline) right above your Adam’s apple. In addition to keeping your head and beard clean, the general consensus is that 2 brows are better than one.

2. Shower Daily

Shower Daily
Did you go to the gym? Shower. Did you work today? Shower. Are you going out in public? Shower. Cheap body sprays do not remove the offending bacteria that is causing the funk. Even if it’s not an odor issue you simply look refreshed after a scrub down.

3. Moisturize

Take care of your skin from head to toe. You don’t need to spend too much time on it but focus on the problem areas. Dandriff on the shoulders or dry white flaky elbows are not attractive and make you look gross unkempt.

4. Posture

How you stand makes a huge difference. Don’t hunch over. Put your shoulders back and present yourself. Not in an obnoxious-wrestler-walking-around-the-ring way but enough to show you are confident. When you are hunched over you are subconsciously protecting yourself. Standing straight will make you look taller and signal to others that you are a strong confident male. This is the one tip that you may need to practice to make it a habit.

5. Be Comfortable in Your Clothes

Don’t tug and tuck at your clothes. It’s hard to come across as confident when you are uncomfortable. Constantly adjusting can make you look nervous. It’s worth the extra dollars to find clothes that are a good fit, are comfortable, and last.

On that note, we invite you to try the Manhattan for all-day comfort. We guarantee it’s the most comfortable undershirt you’ll ever own AND it’s made from eco-friendly material and sewn in the USA.
